The statute is the most commonly used for family law, but many precedents have been made and they can play a crucial role, of course this can vary from state to state and can change over time. The most commonly used judiciary body for family law is the state family court, but other courts also have jurisdiction over family law issues. Depending on the administrative body individuals may be granted to proceed without a lawyer, but family law is known to lead to complications so hiring an attorney is advisable.
